Orfelina’s Empanadas
Orfelina’s Empanadas is a self-initiated identity and packaging project celebrating the Ecuadorian empanadas de queso con azúcar blanca made by my Abuelita.
Scope included brand storytelling, logotype creation, and the design of a tactile packaging suite meant to evoke memory, warmth, and cultural pride.

Approach
Inspired by the principles of 3D design, the branding explores tactile materials and emotional cues through packaging and handmade details. I combined typographic storytelling and technical construction to craft a nostalgic yet vibrant identity.

Outcome
The final deliverables include a hand-sewn tote bag logo, individual and group packaging boxes, a sugar packet, a Horchata Lojana iced tea bottle, and branded business cards. Together, they create a cohesive visual experience rooted in cultural memory and personal connection.
